Alder Hey Children’s Charity
Alder Hey Children’s Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children’s Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families they care for every year. The Charity helps to fund a range of activities and projects that are designed to enhance and improve the lives of the amazing young patients.
Alder Hey Children’s Charity is currently raising funds for their ‘7in10 Children’s Mental Health Appeal’. Highlighting that 7 out of 10 children and young people who experience a mental health condition have not had appropriate interventions at a sufficiently early age, the Appeal aims to raise £3million to enhance inpatient and community mental health services at Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, enabling more children to access the treatment they need, at the time they need it.
The Walton Centre
The Walton Centre is the only specialist NHS Trust in the UK dedicated to providing comprehensive neuro services as well as pain management and complex rehabilitation. It is part of the region’s trauma centre and as such treats and cares for patients with traumatic head, neck and spinal injuries. Over the last 12 months, The Walton Centre has also ed partner Trusts with the treatment of Covid patients requiring intensive care.
The Rose Paterson Trust
The Rose Paterson Trust has been founded in honour of Rose, who took her own life in June 2020. The Rose Paterson Trust aims to those in need through fundraising and policy change. It has been born out of the immense pride Rose’s family have in her and the depth of their despair at facing life without her.
